Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui has constituted five benches of the apex court for next week starting from January 3 (Monday). These benches of the Apex court will hear hundreds of cases in the Supreme Court Building Islamabad. According to the cause list issued by the Supreme Court on Friday for next week, five benches have been constituted to hear a number of cases fixed for hearing in the next week.

Newly constituted benches comprised Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui, Justice Javed Iqbal and Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar (Bench-I), Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Rana Bhagwandas and Justice Mian Shakirullah January (Bench-II), Justice Hamid Ali Mirza, Justice Falak Sher and Justice Javed Buttar (Bench III), Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi and Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar (Bench IV), Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday and Justice Tassaddaq Hussain Jillani (Bench V).
